EVENT HISTORY
What began in 2002 as a group of mates taking on a gruelling 117km trail has evolved into an iconic two-day event. In 2003, it made history as Australia’s first official mountain bike marathon, setting the standard for what was to come.
Now in its 23rd year, this annual event continues to attract riders, runners, spectators, and sponsors alike — from elite athletes to everyday adventurers and families.
