Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. You must not make any booking unless you understand and agree with the following terms and conditions. References to “us”, “we” and/or “our” in these booking terms and conditions shall mean Hidden Vale Adventure Park, sometimes also referred to as “HVAP”.
These terms and conditions apply to bookings you make with us over the phone, via chat, via email, in-person or online, as well as third parties such as affiliates (Spicer’s retreats) and/or other agent bookings on behalf of their clients.
We will rely on the authority of the person making the booking to act on behalf of any other traveller on the booking and that person will bind all such travellers to these terms and conditions.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover your travel arrangements. Your insurance protection should include cover for cancellation due to illness, medical and repatriation expenses, personal injury and accident, death and loss of personal baggage and money and personal liability insurance.
Health
You must ensure that you are aware of any health requirements and recommended precautions relevant to your travel.
Prices
All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. The prices quoted over the phone, via chat by email or in-person are subject to change thereafter. Availability can change at any time. To proceed with your reservation and secure your booking we require full payment at time of booking unless specified otherwise.
Credit Card Fees
The following credit cards and fees apply for credit card payments: 1% Visa Debit or Credit and Mastercard Debit or Credit, 2.5% Union Pay and 3.3% for American Express. There are no additional fees for EFTPOS, direct deposit or cash payments. Please note we do not accept Diners Club.
Park closure & extreme weather policy
HVAP reserves the right to temporarily close the park due to unforeseen circumstances, such as bushfires or significant weather events, which may pose a serious threat. The park will not generally close for wet weather. In the event of a park closure, all affected parties with prior bookings shall be notified via email and/or text message, with as much advance notice as possible. Customers impacted by the closure shall be eligible for a full refund, a credit voucher, or the option to transfer their booking to an alternative day or days.
Booking changes, refunds & cancellation policy (including fees)
Subject to your refund and remedy rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the following change and cancellation fees apply to our standard rate packages and bookings (including online bookings and bookings made over the phone, via chat, by email or in person).
Please refer back to your confirmation received at the time of booking as special packages and rates will be marked as non-refundable in which the below does not apply.
Amendments are limited to Passes, Lessons, or Hire services of equal or lesser value within the same bike park season. If the rescheduled date carries a higher price value, the price difference shall be charged accordingly.
Any cancellations, name and/or date changes for bookings must be requested by email to info@hvap.com.au or by calling 0458 548 579.
Booking & cancellation policy (including fees)
Unless otherwise stated, riders may change or cancel their booking in accordance with the following:

- Requests with less than 7 days until booking
- Changes within 7 days will incur a $25 change fee/ booking upon each request. This includes:
- i. Modify the start date or the name associated with the booking
- ii. Cancel the booking in exchange for a one-time credit voucher, valid for 3 years from the date of issue for the full amount of the booking
- Changes within 7 days will incur a $25 change fee/ booking upon each request. This includes:
- Requests with less than 7 days until booking
Refund policy (including fees)

- Requests with 7 days or more until booking
- Riders may change their booking with 7 days or more notice without incurring a change fee
- Riders may cancel their booking with 7 days or more notice to the commencement of the booking for a full refund minus original credit card and booking fees
- Riders may cancel their booking with 7 days or more notice to the commencement of the booking for a one-time credit voucher, valid for 3 years from the date of issue for the full amount of the booking
- Where applicable, refunds will be processed back to your original method of payment. Please note that credit card fees are non-refundable.

Credit vouchers
Where credit vouchers are issued, hereinafter referred to as “Vouchers”, the following terms and conditions govern the redemption and utilisation of said Vouchers:
- Redemption Eligibility: Vouchers shall be deemed redeemable for products offered through the online bookings system or alternatively, at guest services, and may further extend to encompass retail products.
- Online Bookings System: The Vouchers may be utilised for the purchase of products accessible via the online bookings system, subject to any applicable terms and conditions related to the specific product.
- Guest Services: In addition to the online bookings system, Vouchers may also be redeemed for products at guest services.
Once a voucher has been issued the guest’s previous booking is considered to be cancelled and the new booking will be subject to all terms and conditions listed in this document.
Uplift services
All customers of the Hidden Vale Adventure Park uplift service and related services agree to abide by the Park’s rider responsibility code at all times. Non-compliance with any of the park rules or regulations will render the users pass invalid. Significant breaches of the code may result in bans from the park.
All customers of the Hidden Vale Adventure Park uplift service and related services agree to the waiver as noted below. This waiver must be signed prior to arrival or upon arrival at the park via the link below. Any refusal to sign the waiver at the time of check-in will result in the cancellation of the booking without refund.
All customers of the Hidden Vale Adventure Park uplift service and related services are responsible for securing their own bike to the trailer. Hidden Vale Adventure Park takes no responsibility for damage caused to a customer’s bike during transportation.
Hire equipment & services
All bike hire customers agree to abide by the Park’s rider responsibility code at all times. Non-compliance with any of the park rules or regulations will render the hire and the users pass invalid. Significant breaches of the code may result in bans from the park.
All bike hire customers agree to the waiver as noted below. This waiver must be signed prior to arrival or upon arrival at the park via the link below. Any refusal to sign the waiver at the time of check-in will result in the cancellation of the booking without refund.
Bike hire customers are responsible for any damage caused to the bike during hire (excluding obvious equipment fault). Customers will be charged for any damage upon the return of the bike. Customers may reduce their damage liability to $0.00 by purchasing the optional $25 damage waiver prior to commencement of their hire period.
All hire bikes are for use with the park boundary and trails only. Use outside of the park may be granted with prior approval from the Hidden Vale Adventure Park Trailhead Office.
ATV & guided tours
All bike school customers, ATV tour guests and guided tour guests agree to abide by the Park’s rider responsibility code at all times. Non-compliance with any of the park rules or regulations will render the hire and the users pass invalid. Significant breaches of the code may result in bans from the park.

All customers of the HIdden Vale Adventure Park tour service and related services are responsible for securing their personal items during transit. Hidden Vale Adventure Park takes no responsibility for damage caused to a customer’s personal items during transportation.
Rider responsibility code
- Maintain control: It’s your responsibility to avoid obstacles and people.
- Understand your limits: Ride within your skill level. Start with easier routes and progress gradually.
- Protect yourself: Wear appropriate biking gear and protective equipment.
- Respect and care for your equipment.
- Be smart about uplifts: Know how to ride, load, and unload safely.
- Inspect trails and features regularly as conditions can change.
- Follow signs and warnings: Stick to marked trails and avoid closed ones. Ride only in the designated direction.
- Stay visible: Avoid stopping in unsafe areas. Watch out for others and cooperate. Report incidents to park management.
- Always follow the instructions of park staff.
Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the cancellation of your uplift pass without a refund.
Age restrictions
Bike park users under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a paying parent or guardian, who must remain with the minor for the duration of their riding in the park. The uplift service is only open to users 14 years of age or older. Any individual under the age of 14 years wishing to use the uplift service may be approved upon evidence of prior riding capability. Speak with the Trailhead team for further details and prior approval.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither Hidden Vale Adventure Park nor any of its related bodies corporate, directors, employees or agents accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control, force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control or which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part. Under circumstances where our liability cannot be excluded and where liability may be lawfully limited, such liability is limited to the remedies required of us under applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law). This liability clause is subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your personal information and agree to handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By providing personal information to us, you agree that our Privacy Policy will apply to how we handle your personal information and you consent to us collecting, using and disclosing your personal information as detailed in our Privacy Policy. In particular, you agree that in certain circumstances (such as where you request us to book an experience for you), we are permitted to disclose your personal information to external recipients. Such recipients may include the travel service providers (e.g. tour providers) with whom you make a booking. Generally, we will only disclose your personal information to these persons in connection with facilitation of your travel booking and/or to enable the performance of administrative and technical services by them on our behalf. Where we disclose your personal information to any person, you agree that we will not be required to ensure that person’s compliance with Australian privacy laws or otherwise be accountable for how they handle your personal information. When used above, “disclose” includes to transfer, share, send, or otherwise make available or accessible to another person or entity. Refer to full Privacy Policy HERE.
Governing Law
If any dispute arises between you and us, the laws of Australia will apply. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia, and waive any right that you may have to object to an action being brought in those courts.
Acknowledgement
You acknowledge that you are 18 years of age or older and that you understand and agree with the above General – Booking Terms, Rider Liability Waiver & Privacy Policy.
